Non-Immigrant Visas

VISA INFORMATION AND APPOINTMENT SERVICES

  • Information on all types of visas to the United States is available through our call center. To reach the call center, you need to first purchase a phone card from  an authorized distributor. Click here for a list of distributors.
  • To make an appointment for a non-immigrant visa (tourist, student, business) you must use this service. Information on immigrant visas and diversity visas is also available from this service; however appointments for these types of visas are scheduled in the United States and applicants are notified by mail.
  • Tourist/Business

    A valid visa is necessary for most aliens who wish to apply for entry into the United States. If you wish to enter the United States temporarily for business purposes or for tourism, visits to relatives and friends, or similar reasons, you will need a B-1 or B-2 visa.

    Requirements to apply for a tourist/business visa

    • Have a valid passport (must be valid for at least 6 months after the intended date of return from the United States). 
    • Bring a passport sized photograph (2" x 2"). The background should be light colored and plain, taken within the last six months. Side photos will not be accepted. 
    • Pay a non-refundable fee of US$131. 

    • Complete a DS-156 Visa Application Form for each applicant.
       
    • You must use the Electronic Visa Application Form. The form can be filled out online to assist in the processing of your visa application. For instructions for using the online form please visit http://evisaforms.state.gov/.
