EMBASSY MOVE

 U.S. EMBASSY MOVES TO NEW ADDRESS

The U.S. Embassy will begin moving to its new compound on Eyadema Boulevard in the Lome II neighborhood on Wednesday, December 13, 2006. Consequently, the Embassy will be closed to the public for ordinary business between Wednesday, December 13 and Monday, December 25, 2006.  Telephone operations will resume December 18th.  All in-person services, including Visa Services, will resume Tuesday, December 26th, 2006 at 7:30. 

Americans in need of emergency services between December 13th and noon on December 16th should call (228) 221-2993 and press 0 to be connected to the duty officer.  After noon on December 16th, emergency callers should dial the new Embassy main line number and press 0.

The English Language Center will remain at the current location.  They can be reached at 338-8834.  Registration for classes begins January 8th for current students and January 9-11 for new students from 9:00-11:00 and 14:00-16:00.
